Was going to buy it but decided against it, it's a bit more pricey then normal power pro and the only difference is the slick is more smooth then the original. Might cast a little further but for what we do we don't need distance all the time! Choice is yours Glenn

What Braid would you recommend for someone on a budget, I was looking at 30lb. Also am I better of sticking to a British supplier?

Not sure what you want it for so I'm guessing lure fishing/wobbling?? If so I would stay with power pro 150 yards 30/33lb which ever it comes in and do stick to a british seller most power pro you buy abroad is fake and would not match the breaking strains they say i.e 50lb was breaking at 20lb etc. If you get the 150 yards it will be priced around £10-15 just back your own reel up with line then add the braid to fill the spool. Hope this helps a little ;)

I fell in love with "Power pro" a few years ago and for a variety of species and fishing situations, anything from 20lb to 25lb for a wide range of fresh water applications and I have used it in the fens as well as the amazon and everywhere in between, I had used it for lure fishing and liked it until I used "Super 8 Slick Braid" an increase in distance of around 15 to 20%, extra distance is not always required as I fish a variety of venues, but always nice to have the extra in reserve, not the cheapest, but well worth the money in my humble opinion.

If it’s for jerkbait fishing I’d seriously consider upping your breaking strain if you don’t mind me saying
