Newbie from March

Hi folks I have just signed up to the B. P. S. and I am looking forward to chatting with other members. I have fished the fens for thirty years or thereabouts for a variety of species, depending on season, pike and zander during the winter months, using a variety of methods, including the classic wobble bait.

I am hoping to get to know the 16 foot stretch this year which has recently been acquired by the squad. I hope that someone can help me with some of the rules. My questions would include, how many rods may be used? and is night fishing allowed. I do hope that these questions can be answered quickly and I can start to enjoy the fishing the 16foot can provide.

All the best to all members and I would love to swap ideas and techniques.

Hi wolfish and welcome to the BPS, I have passed on your questions to our treasurer and local expert Stu Parker. During the closed season this site is not very active, but keep looking in as it does become busy as the pike season progresses.
Would you be interested in a chance to fish for Great Britain?
